    Jennifer Heath

    Dr. Jennifer Heath is a 2013 graduate of Mississippi State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Born and raised in Tennessee, she has always had a passion for animals ever since her youth. From rescuing earthworms off of the hot pavement to feeding any stray that she could find, Dr. Heath was always vigilant in her care. Her passion lies in rehabilitation medicine, geriatric medicine, and exotics. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. In her spare time she is an avid reader, writer and swimmer. Dr. Heath lives in Cumming with her 17 year old Pomeranian Patches

    Claire Surber

    Dr. Claire Surber is a 2005 graduate of the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine. A native of West Virginia, her training took her to the Panama Canal to study tamarin monkey behavior and to Brazil as an extern in zoo animal medicine. Dr. Surber's interests in companion animal medicine include opthalmology, pain management, and senior wellness care. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association. In her free time, she enjoys running, cooking, and cheering on the Dawgs. Dr. Surber lives in Gainesville with her son Joe, and her rescue babies Penny, Sassy, Charlotte, and Oliver.

    Stephanie Hartsfield-Vinson

    Dr. Stephanie Hartsfield-Vinson graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. Dr. Hartsfield grew up in Athens, AL. From the time she could say "veterinarian", that is what she wanted to be. Dr. Hartsfield owned an animal hospital in Alabama for 10 years before moving to Cumming and purchasing Coal Mountain Animal Hospital. Dr. Hartsfield has special interests in internal medicine, radiology, dentistry, oncology, and geriatric medicine. Dr. Hartsfield is a member of the AVMA, GVMA, and AAHA. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Glen, her three sons and one daughter. Dr. Hartsfield's four-legged child is a 7-year old boxer, Foxie, who is always by her side when she is at home.
