Coal Mountain Animal Hospital, Inc. offers Boarding Services for Dogs, Cats Birds
and Exotic Pets.

We have a variety of cage sizes for dogs including large indoor runs (3 feet by 6
feet) and stainless steel cages up to 48" wide.
Dogs are exercised at least twice daily on leads or in outdoor pens.

We feed either Science Diet Canine Maintenance or Iams Low Residue diets. We will be happy to feed your dog its own food (supplied by you) at your request.

We have special "Kitty Condos" for our feline guests. These have a shelf for our feline guests to lay on while surveying the area. All cats are boarded in a separate area from the dogs to reduce anxiety. Cats are fed Science Diet Feline Maintenance. Again, we will be happy to feed you cat its own food (supplied by you) at your request. |

When boarding birds, please bring your own cage and food to help reduce the stress on your pet. Birds are usually boarded in an upstairs area where there is less activity.
We also board exotic pets.
All animals are boarded inside in a year round heated / air conditioned building.

Please Note:
All animals must have proof of up-to-date vaccinations to be boarded.

This requirement helps to ensure the safety of those staying with us. Also, we require that animals be flea free to board. This can easily be accomplished with an application of Advantage or Frontline Topspot, both excellent flea prevention products.
